SUBJECT: Spring Teen Concert In The Park

RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report and Provide Input
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: One goal of staff was to include the Youth Advisory Committee in
the planning process for the Teen Concert in The Park. At the March 10, 1998 meeting the Committee
believed that a Teen Concert could be done successfully this Spring. May was the month identified as the
best time of year to have the event. There is a budget of$550.00 with which to conduct the event.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Committee provide input on a specific date for the event and possibly assign a
sub-committee to assist with promotion and selection of a band.
