RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report and Provide Input
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: At the May 14, 1998 meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee
there was interest on behalf of the Committee in organizing a retreat for members. The retreat would
serve as a way to evaluate the Committee's term and recognize outgoing members. Retreat ideas
included: camping overnight, going to Great America, going to a local retreat area in Lafayette and using
a facility in Dublin for a day retreat. Costs for a retreat were not placed in our original budget.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Committee discuss the idea of having a retreat and the logistics of a retreat if
the consensus of the Committee is to have one.
