RECOMMENDATIONt' . Appoint delegate to serve as a member of the Board. of
Directors of the Tri-Valley Community Television
Corporation.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION The Cities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton have
agreed to amend the By-Laws of the Tri-Valley Community Television
Corporation to admit the City of San Ramon as a member of the Corporation
and to increase the membership of the Board from 3 members to 11 members .
The Board membership will be comprised of 2 representatives from each City
and the Board will select 3 at-large members to also serve on the Board.
Presently, Vice Mayor Hegarty serves as a member of the Board of Directors . _
It is Staff ' s recommendation that the City Council appoint a second
representative to serve on the Board of Directors of the Tri-Valley
Community Television Corporation.

Dear Rich:
The Cities of Dublin, Livermore, and Pleasanton have all agreed to
amend the By-Laws of the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation to
admit San Ramon as a member of the Corporation, and to increase the membership
of the Board from three to 11 . The Board membership will be comprised of
two representatives from each City, and then the Board will select three at-large
members to-serve.
Your City Council needs to appoint one additional member to the Board
in additi9 to your present member, Pete Hegarty. Please submit to me the
name of your additional representative as soon as the selection has been made.
