SUBJECT: Banner Installation Request - Soroptimist
International - Founders Day Run
EXHIBITS ATTACHED: Encroachment Permit Application
RECOMMENDATION: Approve installation of banner, consistent with City
policy, from August 25 through September 7, 1986, on
the Shannon Center fence.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Minimal cost; a few hours of Staff time will be
required to issue the permit, assist with
installation, and provide followup inspection.
DESCRIPTION:
Soroptimist International has requested use of the San Ramon Road
banner poles for a banner announcing the Founders Day Run, which will be held
on September 7th.
Staff received a request for use of the banner poles from another
organization prior to receiving the request from Soropti.mist International and
therefore recommends that the Soroptimists be allowed use of the Shannon
Center fence as an alternative.
