EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will recognize businesses that have been in Dublin 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45
years.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council recognize businesses that have been in Dublin 20, 25,
30, 35, 40, and 45 years.

On May 1, 2007, the City Council adopted a Business Recognition Program. This effort includes
a Business Anniversary Program to recognize the significant milestone anniversaries in our
community. The Anniversary Program acknowledges businesses that have been in Dublin for
10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 years at a City Council meeting. Businesses that have been
in business for 10 years will receive a Certificate of Recognition in the mail.
On April 7, 2015, the City recognized 103 businesses celebrating anniversaries of continuous
operation in Dublin. Some of the businesses on the April 7 list were unable to attend the earlier
City Council meeting so the City has extended invitations to tonight's meeting to be recognized.
Tonight, the City recognizes two businesses celebrating 45 years, two businesses celebrating
40 years, two businesses celebrating 35 years, eight businesses celebrating 30 years, 27

businesses celebrating 25 years, and nine businesses celebrating 20 years of continuous
operation in Dublin. All businesses being recognized with Business Anniversary Awards are
included in Attachment 2.
