City Commissioner/Committee Recognition

RECOMMENDATION: Formation of a City Council Sub-Committee to formulate a
recommendation regarding the recognition of City Council
appointed Commissions and Committees.

DESCRIPTION:
Committees as follows:
The City of Dublin has five active City Commissions and/or
Planning Commission
· Parks & Community Services Commission
· Heritage & Cultural Arts Commission
· Senior Center Advisory Committee
· Youth Advisory Committee
The City Council makes appointments to these Commissions/Committees biannually (every other
year), as 4-year membership terms expire.
During December 2000 the terms for a number of Commissioners and Committee members expired.
Staff would recommend that the City Council appoint a subcommittee to plan the appropriate
recognition for these outgoing Commissions and Committee members who have served the community
so well.
