AT/Accept improvements constructed under Contract 00-10; authorize
fmal payment to B.U.R. Services in the amount of $23,368.75 and
release of retention after 35 days if no claims are received.

*The City Council approved the additional appropriation of $28,825 for this project at the time of bid
award. The project was completed within the revised budget.
DESCRIPTION: At the August 1, 2000, meeting, the City Council awarded Contract
00-10 Civic Center RoofReplacemem Phase 2, to B.U.R. Ser-vices. This project installed a new foam
roof on the Police Wing of the Civic Center. The Administrative Wing was re-roofed two years ago in
Phase 1 of the project. The foam roof system has been inspected and approved by the manufacturer and
carries a 1 O-year guarantee.
B.U.R. Services has completed the project satisfactorily and in accordance with all applicable codes.
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the work performed under this contract, and authorize final
payment to B.U.R. Services and release of retention in 35 days if no claims are received.
