SUBJECT: Designation of Agency Labor Negotiators, Unrepresented mployee: City

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will consider the Mayor's recommendation of two Councilmembers as the
City's representatives to discuss conditions of employment for the City Manager.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None at this time.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the Mayor's recommendation and designate Vice
Mayor Gupta and Councilmember Biddle as the City's representatives to discuss conditions of
employment for the City Manager.

DESCRIPTION:
Mayor Haubert is recommending the appointment of Vice Mayor Gupta and Councilmember to
serve as the City's representatives to negotiate with the City Manager. The City will continue to
use the facilitation services of Sherry L. Lund Associates for this process.
