Proclamation in Honor of the Anniversary of the United States Constitution

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will present a proclamation to representatives from Daughters of the American
Revolution designating September 17 through September 23, 2013 as Constitution Week in the
City of Dublin.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council present the proclamation.

DESCRIPTION:

September 17, 2013, marks the 226 anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the
United States of America by the Constitutional Convention. The City Council will recognize this

document and celebrate its 226 anniversary by designating September 17 through
September 23, 2013, as Constitution Week.
