FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION:
The Cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon make two appointments per City to the Tri-
Valley Community Television Board (CTV). In addition, the Board chooses three members-at-large to
serve on the Board. The CTV Board appointees serve a two-year term. According to CTV by-laws, there
is no limit on the number of terms board members may serve.
The terms for both Dublin representatives, Valerie Barnes and Patrick Hannigan, expire at then end of
February 2003. Ms. Barnes and Mr. Hannigan have both expressed interest in continuing their service on
the Board. The Mayor has re-appointed Ms. Barnes and Mr. Hannigan for an additional term.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Council confirm the Mayor's re-appointment of Patrick Hannigan and Valerie
Barnes to the CTV Board.
