SUBJECT: Update on the First Year of the City's Website

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In September 2010, the City launched its new website - www.dublin.ca.gov. Staff will make a
presentation on the success of the new website to the City Council.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council receive the presentation.

DESCRIPTION:
The Dublin City Council established a Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Goal and Objective to "implement
a new website for the City of Dublin." Staff researched various firms with a specialization in
developing websites for municipal agencies and recommended the services of CivicPlus to
create the City's new website.
On September 15, 2010, the City launched the new website - www.dublin.ca.gov. The site
contained new features and tools that allow the City to better engage and communicate with
residents and business in Dublin.
Staff will make a presentation on the first year of the City's new website and share statistics on
its use and success.
