Staff has reviewed the work performed under this contract and has determined that the work is satisfactory and complete. The total contract cost was significantly lower than budgeted, as the budget for improvements were based on the estimated unit costs that staff received prior to project development. This was a new improvement project, and staff had minimal information of the unit cost of this type of vrrork to be performed by a contractor. This year's costs will give Staff a baseline from which to develop more accurate estimates for next year's painting project. NOTICING REQUIREMENTS/PUBLIC OUTREACH: Public Noticing is not required. A copy of the Staff Report was provided to the contractor. ATTACHMENTS: 1.
