RESOLUTION NO. 10- 44
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE ACQUISITION OF 67± ACRES OF LAND BY THE EAST
BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE SCHAEFER RANCH DEVELOPMENT
IS CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY OF DUBLIN GENERAL PLAN
(APN'S 941-2832-001 THROUGH 941-2832-008)
WHEREAS, the East Bay Regional Park District proposed to acquire 67± acres of land
within the Schaefer Ranch Development donated by Schaefer Ranch Holdings, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the subject 67± acres of land will be added to the existing Dublin Hills Regional
Park and will be used for a park, trails and open space; and
WHEREAS, Section 65402 of the Government Code requires that the Planning
Commission report as to whether the proposed acquisitions of property conform with the City of
Dublin General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did receive information regarding the location,
purpose and extent of the proposed acquisitions at a public meeting on September 28, 2010 and
heard recommendations regarding the proposed actions; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the relevant portions of the City of
Dublin General Plan with regards to the proposed acquisitions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Dublin Planning Commission does
hereby find that the acquisition of property that would be added to the existing Dublin Hills
Regional Park conforms with the City of Dublin General Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of September, 2010 by the following vote:
AYES: King, Brown, Schaub, Wehrenberg
