HERITAGE AND CULTURAL ARTS COMMISSION

SUBJECT: Committee Appointments

RECOMMENDATION: Make Appointments
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: There are committees that require the representation of a member of
the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission. As per the Bylaws and Rules of Procedure for the
Commission, "The Commission ar the Chairperson, upon direction of the Commission, may appoint
several of its members, but less than a quorum, to serve as a Committee".
A summary of the two cunent committees with representatives and alternates are shown below.
Art Selection Committee- Dublin Transit Center
An ad-hoc committee whose purpose is to provide the City Council with a recommendation on artwork
for the Dublin Transit Center development.
Representative: Anita Carr
Alternate: Dayna Tutino
Oral History Program-Steerine Committee
An ad-hoc committee whose purpose is to provide input and recommendations on the formulation of a
City Oral History Program.
Steve Minniear, Representative
Connie Mack, Representative
Georgean Vonheeder Leopold, Representative (City Historian)
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of Staff that the Heritage and Cultural Arts
Commission review the current committee appointments and make changes and/or appointments to the
committee as deemed necessary.
