SUBJECT: Change in Appointment nf Representative and Alternate to the
Tri-Valley Transportation Council

RECOMMENDATION: Determine who will be City's representative and alternate and direct
Staff to notify the appropriate agencies.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTIQN: At the City Council meeting of June 6, 2000, Mayor Houston
indicated that Vice Mayor Lockhart as representative and he as alternate had conflicts in their schedules
which prohibited them from attending the meetings of the Tri-Va11ey Transportation Council. The
meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month.
Staff recommends that the City Council discuss and determine who will serve as the City's representative
and alternate to the Tri-Valley Transportation Council, direct Staffto update the Appointment/Assignment
List, and direct Staff to notify the appropriate agencies of this change.
