A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
APPROVING TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE
SERVICE AGREEMENT
WITH CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
WHEREAS, the traffic signal controllers at the intersection of Alcosta
Boulevard and Davona Drive are shared by the City of Dublin and Contra Costa
County; and
WHEREAS, in situations where intersections are jointly owned, it is
necessary for one jurisdiction to act as the lead agency in maintaining the
traffic signal system; and
WHEREAS, since Contra Costa County has responsibility for 75% of the
intersection, the City of Dublin agrees that Contra Costa County should act
as the lead agency and bill the City for its share of the cost of maintaining
the traffic signal system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Dublin City Council approves the
joint powers agreement between the City-and Contra Costa County which provides
for the maintenance of the traffic signal system at Alcosta Boulevard and
Davona Drive.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 1982, by the
following vote:
AYES: Cm. Burton, Jeffery, Moffatt, Hegarty and Mayor Snyder
