HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 010-82 Procedure Demands RESOLUTION 10- 82 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN AUTHORIZING A PROCEDURE FOR APPROVAL OF DEMANDS WHEREAS, Sections 37202 and 37203 of the Government Code provide for a procedure for the approval or rejection of demands; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Dublin hereby establishes the following procedure for approval or rejection of demands. 1. Demands shall be audited by the City Clerk and approved by the City Administrator. The demands shall be listed on a register with an affidavit of the City Clerk certifying as to the accuracy of the demands and the availability of funds for their payment. The register shall be approved by the City Administrator. The register will then be submitted to the City Council which shall approve the register or approve the register except for an item or items it rejects. 4. Following approval of the register by the Council, the Mayor will sign warrants and the City Clerk will countersign them. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February, 1982, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Burton, Hegarty, Jeffery, Moffatt and Mayor Snyder NOES: None ABSENT: None MAYOR CITY~ERK
