HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 013-82 DubBlAbandonPartRESOLUTION NO. 13-82 RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF HEARING TO ABANDON A PORTION OF DUBLIN BOULEVARD ADJACENT TO THE GREEN STORES, PLEASANTON TOWNSHIP; FIX DATE, HOUR AND PLACE OF HEARING; PUBLISH AND POST. WHEREAS, on March 1, 1982, the City Council of the City of Dublin, on its own motion determined to vacate and abandon a portion of the right of way of Dublin Boulevard at Donlon Way in front of the Green Store in the City of Dublin, Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California; and WHEREAS, the portion of Dublin Boulevard requested to be abandoned is specifically designated and shown on the map entitled "Dublin Boulevard at Donlon Way, September, 1981", Alameda County Public Works Agency, Road Department Drawing No. E-3396-7, a copy of which is on file with the Director of Public Works of the County of Alameda at 399 Elmhurst Street, Hayward, California, 94544 and at the offices of the City of Dublin, 6500 Dublin Boulevard, Room 218, Dublin, California, 94566 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council of the City of Dublin does and it hereby gives notice of its intention to vacate a portion of Dublin Boulevard at Donlon Way; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceedings for the vacation and abandonment of said portion of Dublin Boulevard shall be conducted under the provisions of Chapter 3 of Division 9, Section 8320 et. seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does and it hereby fixes the fifth day of April, 1982 at the hour of 7:45 p.m. in the regular meeting room of the City Council at the Dublin Library, 7606 Amador Valley Boulevard, Dublin, California, 94566 as the date, hour and place for hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation of Dublin Boulevard; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution and Notice shall be published for at least 2 successive weeks prior to April 5, 1982, in the Valley Times, a newspaper published in Alameda County; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that at least three (3) copies of this Resolution and Notice shall be posted conspicuously not more than 300 feet apart along the line of the proposed abandonment and on adjacent streets at least 2 weeks prior to April 5, 1982.
