A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF DUBLIN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is newly incorporated and the consi-
deration and decision on the question of the method of providing local
law enforcement will require lenghty study and negotiations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE.D that:
Section 1. The California Highway Patrol is respectfully
requested to continue to furnish traffic enforcement within the recently
incorporated City of Dublin until June 30, 1982.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February, 1982, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS Burton, Hegerty, Jeffery, Moffatt and Mayor Snyder
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
