CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: December 2, 2008
SUBJECT: Request by Vice Mayor Sbranti to consider creation of an
Economic Incentive Program

RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council provide Staff direction regarding the
establishment of a High Priority Goal for Fiscal Year 2008-09 to
create an Economic Incentive Program.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Unknown at this time.
DESCRIPTION: Vice Mayor Sbranti has requested that Staff place an item on the
agenda asking for City Council discussion regarding the creation of a Economic Incentive program for
Fiscal Year 2008-09. If the City Council is supportive of this request, Staff would request that the City
Council provide Staff direction to create a Higher Service Level Goal to create an Economic Incentive
Program.
RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council provide Staff direction regarding the
establishment of a High Priority Goal for Fiscal Year 2008-09 to create an Economic Incentive Program.
