RECOMMENDATION: Recognize the Participants of the 2008 City of Dublin 101 Academy.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None.
DESCRIPTION: The City of Dublin 101 Academy, an 11-week program, was
designed to inform participants about the issues facing the community, and to encourage community
involvement at all levels. The last class for Dublin 101 was held on Thursday, November 13, 2008.
Topics that were covered in the Academy include. public safety, local government .and community
services. There were participants that were accepted into the program and participants completed the
Dublin 101 Academy. They were: Amye Allen, Simi. Bhachu, Patricia Creighton, Nancy Dahlberg,
Ramoncito Firmeza, Valentina Guzman, Jimmy Huang, Doris Jung, Sonal Nukols, Kimberly Pona, Julie
Royce, Robert Royce, Antonio Ticsay, Norman Vales, and Bob Wright.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council recognize the participants in
the 2008 Dublin 101 Academy.
