A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED FIRE STATION PLAN LOCATED AT BRODER ROAD AND
GLEASON ROAD IS CONSISTENT WITH THE
ADOPTED CITY OF DUBLIN GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has completed a 2000-2005 CIP outlining major infrastructure
improvements through Fiscal Year 2005; and
WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402 (a) of the Government Code require that plans for major
public works for the ensuing fiscal year be submitted to the Planning Commission for review as to
conformance with the adopted City of Dublin General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin proposes to build a new fire station at Broder Road and Gleason Road
to provide fire access and response in conformance with standards developed in the General Plan and Eastern
Dublin Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, this application is exempt from environmental review under State law; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did revie,d and consider the draft document and heard
recommendations at a public meeting on March 13, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin Planning Commission does hereby find
that the fire station plans submitted by staff complies with the General Plan as adopted, and said Resolution
shall be submitted to the City Council in accordance with the Government Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of March 2001.
