WH.EREAS, :i.naccol'dance witb "'che provisions of Al-ticle 13 of Chapter 2 of Title 8 of tbe
Alameda County Ordinance Code, Pay Less Drug Stores did appeal to this Board from t.he
decision of the Alumeda County Planning ComlTlissiol1; and
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1972, this Board of Superv:i.so::'s did consider the appeal of
Pay. Less Drug Stores; and.
WBEREAS, this Board of Supervisors did flnd a,:; follaws:
(a) There are special cirCULlst,8.nCes applicable to the property '4hich deprive
t,he prope'l-ty of pri.',;ileges enjoyed by other prope:ct~;r in the vicj.nity under
the identical zoning classification.
(b) The granting of the applications will not constit'lte a grant of special
privileges inconsistent with the limitations upon other properties in the
vicinity and zone.
(c) The uses will not be detrimen.tal to persons or property in the neighborhood
or to the public welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Pay Less Drug stores be and it is hereby
granted a Site Development Rev:tew and a Variance to permit a freestand.i.ng sign of total
area of 600 sq. ft. where a m9.Ximum of 300 sq. ft. in area is peTmitted in a C-l (Retail
Business) District, loca-t;ed at Regional Street, east side, south of the intersection -with
Amador Valley Boulevard, Dublin .Area, Pleasanton Township, as sho~n on a plot plan labelled
Exhibit "A" on file with this Board of Supervisors.
Said Variance shall. be subjeet to revoc8.tion for cause in accordance with Section 8-90.3
of the Alameda County Zoning Ordinance.
