Foss, Economic Development Director ATTACHMENTS: RECOMMENDATION: A. Final Draft Script ~~1. Approve the final draft script and authorize staff to proceed with filming of Promotional Marketing Video. FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None. DESCRIPTION: In the City of Dublin's FY City Council directed staff to proceed with the development supplement the City's economic development efforts. 1999-2000 Goals and Objectives, the of a promotional marketing video to On December 7, 1999, the City Council approved a contract, not to exceed $39,850, with Goal Line Productions to produce the video. At that same meeting, the City Council authorized Mayor Houston to serve as the Council's liaison on this project and also directed staffto return to the City Council with the video script for final approval before the filming starts. The overall length of the video will be between 7 and 10 minutes, and will emphasize Dublin's location, quality of life, and business community. Staff has included the final draft (see Attachment A) of the script for the Council's review and comments, if any. Staff anticipates that the video will be ready by the second week of May, 2000. RECOMMENDATION: It is staff's recommendation that the City Council approve the final draft of the script and authorize staff to proceed with the production of the promotional marketing video.
