The project is under budget for both the total project and for Fiscal Year 1986-87.
DESCRIPTION:
In July of 1986, the City Council awarded Contract 86-7, the Sierra Court
Southerly Extension, to Robert Quatman, Inc. The project provided for the extension
of Sierra Court through the Dublin Sports Grounds for access to the Civic Center
site. This project included street improvements, street lighting, and utilities. It
also includes reconstruction of baseball fields, relocating a park storage facility,
construction of restrooms, and drainage facilities.
The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined
that it is complete and in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and authorize release
of Robert Quatman's security in lieu of retention, which is in the form of a letter
of credit.
