AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
The City Council of the City of Dublin does ordain as follows:
Section 1. LIMITED PARKING ZONES
Section 6-343.8 Tamarack Drive of Article 9 "Limited Parking Zones"
of the Alameda County Ordinance Code Title 6 "Vehicles and Traffic," as adopted by
the City of Dublin, is repealed.
Section 2. NO PARKING ZONES
Article 7, relating to "No Parking Zones" of the Alameda Countp
Ordinance Code previously adopted by the City of Dublin is amended by the addition of
Section 6-288.88 to read:
6-288.88 Tamarack Drive. On the northerly curbline of Tamarack
Drive from the easterly side of the easterly driveway into Frederiksen School
opposite Burton Street, easterly a distance of 40 feet.
Section 3. PASSENGER LOADING ZONES
Article 11, relating to "Passenger Loading Zones," of the Alameda
County Ordinance Code previously adopted by the City of Dublin is amended by the
addition of Section 6-442.2 to read:
From 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on school days only. The curb is reserved
for passenger loading and unloading in the following location only between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on school days only.
6-442.2 Tamarack Drive. On the northerly curbline of Tamarack
Drive from a point 40 feet easterly of the easterly driveway into Frederiksen School
opposite Burton Street, extending easterly a distance of 200 feet.
Section 4. IMMEDIATE EFFECT:
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment
because the adoption and immediate effect thereof is necessary in order to protect
vehicular and pedestrian safety.
Section 5. POSTING OF ORDINANCE:
The City Clerk of the City of Dublin shall cause this Ordinance to
be posted in at least three (3) public places in the City of'Dublin in accordance
with Section 36933 of the Government Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Dublin on this 9th
day of February, 1987.
