A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE METROPOLITAN
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984-85
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as
amended (Pub. Util. Code Sec.99200 et seq.). Provides for the
disbursement of funds from the Local Transportation Fund of the
County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for the purpose of
Paratransit services; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the TDA, as
amended, and pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations
thereunder (21 Cal. Adm. Code 6600 et seq.) a prospective claimant
wishing to receive an allocation from the Local Transportation
Fund shall file its claim with the Metropolitan Transportation
Commission; and
WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of
Alameda County will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1984-85
for Paratransit services; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager or
his/her designee is authorized to execute and file an appropriate
claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Development Act,
as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules and regulations
promulgated thereunder, together wil all necessary supporting
documents, with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for an
allocation of TDA funds in Fiscal Year 1984-85; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution
be transmitted to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in
conjunction with the filing of the claim; and the Metropolitan
Transportation Commission be requested to grant the allocations of
funds a specified herein.
