A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
INITIATING PROCEEDINGS
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1983-2
The City Council of the City of Dublin resolves:
1. The City Council proposes to form an assessment district pursuant
to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (Section 22500 and following,
Streets and Highways Code) for this purpose of maintaining the following
improvements:
The maintenance of landscaPing and associated
structures, as delineated on plans prepared by David L.
Gates & Associates, Landscape Architects, on file with
the City of Dublin, including weeding, fertilizing,
pruning and plant replacement; the operation of
irrigation systems including payment for the cost of
water and power utilities; the maintenance of right-of-
way fencing, tennis court fencing, play structures and
entrance signs; the washing of tennis court surfaces and
trash removal on streets and in the neighborhood park.
2. The proposed assessment district shall be designated Landscaping
and Lighting District No. 1983-2, City of Dublin, Alameda County,
California, and shall include the land shown on the map designated,
"Assessment Diagram, Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, City of Dublin,
Alameda County, California," which map is on file with the City Clerk and is
hereby approved.
3. The City Engineer of the City of Dublin is hereby designated
engineer for the purpose of these formation proceedings. The City Council
hereby directs the engineer to prepare and file with the City Clerk a report
in accordance with Article 4 of Chapter 1 of the Landscaping and Lighting
Act of 1972.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Dublin, Alameda County,
California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on this 23rd day of January,
1984.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23th day of January, 1983.
