HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 013-84 LivermoreBARTAlign RESOLUTION NO. 13 - 84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN AGREEING TO SUPPORT THE CITY OF LIVERMORE PREFERRED BART RAIL ALIGNMENT EAST OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON CITY LIMITS WHEREAS, the Bay Area Rapid Transit District has included several alternative routes for the BART rail alignment east of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, Phase II of the Livermore-Pleasanton extension is not expected to be completed until sometime after the completion of Phase Ii and WHEREAS, the City of Livermore has not made a final decision on the exact rail alignment east of Pleasanton. NOW, THEREFORE, BT IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council does hereby resolve that the City Council will support the City of Livermore's BART rail alignment when such alignment has been selected and approved by the Livermore City Council for Phase II of the Livermore-Pleasanton extension. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1984.
