DESCRIPTION: The Dublin Leadership Academy, an ll-week program, was
designed to inform participants about the issues facing the community, and to encourage community
involvement at all levels. The last class for the second annual Dublin Leadership Academy was held on
March 9, 2006. Topics that were covered during the Academy were public safety, local government and
community services. There were 27 individuals that were accepted and 26 participants completed the
Academy They were; Kathy Avanzino, Jeff Baker, Mona Lisa Ballesteros, Don Biddle, Vma Bird, Ron
Boggs, Marilyn Briones, Hiromi Brom!, Tyler Clafton, Susette Clark-Walker, Steven T. Jones, Steven
Jones, Christine Kaehuaea, Morgan King, Lak Ming Lam, Raymond Lam, Lynn Locke, Steven Lockhart,
Emmanuel Macalino, James Ottem, Ginger Ripplinger, Dana Santa Cruz, Grover Shetterly, Edward
Terriquez. Elias Torrez, and Jonathan Trinidad.
