RECOMMENDATION:øv' ~ Accept improvements under Artistic Services Agreement
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: In July 2003 the City Council approved an agreement with artist
Rowland Cheney to design, fabricate, and install a public art piece entitled "Wisdom through the Ages"
for the new Dublin Senior Center. The art piece has been fabricated and was installed at the Senior Center
in May 2005. As part of the agreement with Mr. Cheney the City has an obligation to formally accept the
work as complete.
The City has revicwcd the art piece and has determined that the work is complete. It is the
rceommendation of Staff that the City Council accept the improvements under the Artistic Serviccs
Agreement.
