An updated appointment list was considered and approved by the City Council at its December 7 and December 21, 2004, meetings. Since that time, Staff has been advised of several modifications to the list, which result in the need to appoint additional representatives. With regard to the appointment to the Livermore Amador Valley Transportation Authority, at its December 7, 2004 meeting, the Council advised that an alternate to this committee was not necessary. Since then, however, it has been determined that an alternate is necessary, and Mayor Lockhart has appointed Councilmember Hildenbrand. Staff has also been advised that the J-580 CorridorlBART to Livermore Study Policy Committee is now defimct, and a new committee, the Tri-Valley Triangle Study Policy Advisory Committee, has been formed in its place. Mayor Lockhart has determined that it would be appropriate for the Representative and Alternate (Lockhart and Hildenbrand respectively) previously appointed to the dcfimct committee to represent Dublin on the Tri- Valley Triangle Study Policy Advisory Committee. Lastly, as a housekeeping item, it is appropriate to update the Mayor's Appointment/Assignment list to reflect a committee name change. The Job Training Partnership ActlPIC is now known as the Associated Community Action Program. Council member Oravetz will remain as the City's appointed representative. Staff recommends that the City Council confirm the appointment ofCm. Hildenbrand as Alternate to the Livermore-Amador Valley Transit Authority JPA; confirm the appointment of Mayor Lockhart as Representative and Cm. Hildenbrand as AJternate to the Tri- Valley Triangle Study Policy Advisory Committee; and direct Staff to notifY affected agencies of the appointments, as appropriate. _____~_w________________.~_____~_____________________~___------------_______~_______________w________________ COPIES TO: G:\CC-MTGS\200-'i-qtrl\Feb\02.-15-04\as-CC-semœ-appolntmts.doc ITEM NO.
