SPECIAL MEETIN6 - JANUAR~ 7. 2005
A special meeting ofthe Dublin City Council was held on Friday,January 7, 2005, in the
Community Room of the Dublin Library. The meeting was called to order at
approximately 9:00 a.m.

ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Council members Hildenbrand, McCormick, Oravetz, Zika and Mayor
Lockhart.
ABSENT: None.

STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKSHOP

Strategic Planning Consultant Sherry L. Lund facilitated the special workshop for the
Dublin City council.
The Strategic Planning Workshop allowed the City Council to discuss the adopted 2004
strategies and goals and consider the progress to date. The Council discussed revisions
and additions to the 2004 Strategic plan and Goals & Objectives for Fiscal year 2005-
2006.
The Council suggested several changes to the current adopted Vision and Mission
Statements, and directed Staff to bring those modifications back for consideration at the
appropriate Council meeting.
The City Council discussed and agreed that Strategies #1 ~6 from the 2004-2005
Strategic Plan were still the major drivers for Dublin's desired future.

There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned
at approximately 3:00 p.m. to the next regular Council meeting of January 18,2005.
