CITY OF DUBLIN'
CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Ronda Slack, a Dublin resident, has been a Crossing Guard at Nielsen Elementary School for threejyears, stationed at
the corner of Ammillo Road and Alegre Drive in the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, Ronda Slack has been named redpient of the 2003-2004 School Crossing Guard of the Year Award for the City of
Dublin by All City Management Services, Inc., Schooh' Pedestrian Crossing Guard Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ronda Slack is prompt, dependabk, professional and "ajo, y to work with" according to her Supervisor, Jennifer Patefield;
and
WHEREAS, Ronda Slack takes great care in providing superior safety to her students and adults and has a good rapport with the
neighbors and evqyone she crosses; and
WHEREAS, aside from her Crossing Guard duties, Ronda Slack is apart-time church~secretay and is active with the church and
little kague with her husband Robert and their two sons; and
WHEREAS, Crossing Guards have continued to provide for the safety of school children in our community, and the outstanding
supervision and friendl_y demeanorprovided by Ronda Slack haspromoted traffic safety education for children and motorists alike; and
WHEREAS, such distinguished and committed service to our community should not go unrecogni~4ed b~y the City of Dublin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO£1rED that'the Dublin City Coundl expresses its heartfelt appredation to Ronda Slack
for her outstanding service to school children in our community, and extends sincere congratulations and best wishes on her receipt of the
2003-2004 School Crossing Guard of the Year~4~var~for the City of Dublin.
