A Regular Meeting of the Senior Center Advisory Committee was held on Thursday,
March 3, 2022, at the Dublin Senior Center. The meeting was called to order at 9:30 AM,
by Committee Chair Samir Qureshi.

3.1 Approval of the February 3, 2022 Senior Center Advisory Committee

The Committee approved the Consent Calendar.

5. New Business
5.1 Presentation by the Dublin Senior Foundation
The Committee received a presentation from the Dublin Senior Foundation

about related programs and events conducted at the Dublin Senior Center.
6. Other Business
Vice Chair Michelle Wayland provided an update from the Ad-Hoc Committee for the
Youth Benefit Concert. The members of the Dublin Senior Advisory Committee Ad-
Hoc Committee raised over $1,700 for the Dublin Benefit Concert to be held on April 7,
2022. The next Youth Benefit Concert meeting will be held on March 15, 2022.
Recreation Coordinator Henry Siu gave an update on the activities and programs
happening at the Dublin Senior Center.
Alternate Committee member Li informed the Committee that the Dublin Rotary Club
will be donating a new rotating bookshelf and in conjunction with Dublin high school
interact club is conducting a multilingual book drive to create a multi-language library
for the Dublin Senior Center.
Parks and Community Services Commissioner Washington gave an update on the
activities, events and programs in the Parks and Community Services Department.

Being no further business, the meeting adjourned by Committee Chair Samir Qureshi at
10:33 AM.
