CITY OF DUBLIN May 23, 2018
The May 23, 2018 Regular Meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was called to order
at 7:00 PM at the Dublin Senior Center by Chair Liu.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by the Commission, Staff and those present.
ROLL CALL
Committee Members (CM) Present: Brakeman, Bray, Dhillon, Furtado, Goel, Huang, Liu,
Matheny, Mitr, Nuruddin, Sharma, Tran, Yao Xiao
Committee Members Absent: Kolan
Liaison Present: Butler, Parks and Community Services Commission Liaison
Staff Present: McPherson, Siu
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
3.1 Public Comments - Council Member Goel thanked the Committee for their
service and presenting the Annual Report at the May 21 City Council Meeting.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
4.1 Minutes of the April 25, 2018 Regular Meeting
On a motion by CM Lui, seconded by CM Furtado, with Committee Member Kolan absent and
by a vote of 13-0-0, the Youth Advisory Committee took the following action:
ACTION
Approved minutes of the April 25, 2018 Regular Meeting as presented.
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS – None.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS – None.
NEW BUSINESS
7.1 End of Term Celebration
Ms. Lisa McPherson presented the staff report and expressed appreciation for the hard work
and dedication of the 2017-18 Youth Advisory Committee Members and their accomplishments
during the term.

ACTION
The Advisory Committee received the Report and provided feedback to the 2018-19 Youth
Advisory Committee Members with advice to be active, volunteer at all City events, provide
feedback at Advisory Committee Meetings, check your emails and respond, suggest ideas and
support youth initiatives.
OTHER BUSINESS
The Advisory Committee Members provided brief reports on meetings attended over the past
month and upcoming events.
ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:33 PM.
