The Dublin Youth Advisory Committee held a regular meeting on Wednesday, February
22, 2023, at the Dublin Senior Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM by
Brandon Maskey, Committee Chairperson.

2.1 Public Comment
Susan Gardner, Teen Librarian, reported on teen programs, and different events being
held at the Dublin Library and asked what games to play at the upcoming 20th
Anniversary of the opening of the Dublin Library on April 1, 2023.

4. Unfinished Business
4.1 2023 Dublin Benefit Concert Ad Hoc Committee Updates and Discussion
The Ad Hoc Committee updated the Committee on their goals for performers and
sponsors and when the next ad hoc meeting will be.
4.2 2023 Hackathon Event Ad Hoc Committee Updates and Discussion
The Ad Hoc Committee discussed what happened in their February 15, 2023, meeting
and gave an update to the Committee.
5. New Business - None
6. Other Business
Kim Bonato, Recording Secretary, reminded the Committee that the application period
for the Youth Advisory Committee and Parks and Community Services Commission
Student Representative open Friday, February 24, 2023, at 8:00 AM. Applications are
due no later than March 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.
Bridget Amaya, Parks and Community Services Department Assistant Director,
reminded the Committee of the importance of arriving on time to the meetings and
their commitment to the Committee.
