IXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Advisory Committee will receive an update on the Youth Benefit Concert scheduled for April 10,2016.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive the Report.
DESCRIPTION:
The Youth Benefit Concert is scheduled to be held at the Dublin Senior Center on Sunday,April 10 at 2:00
PM. In addition to highlighting the intergenerational talent in the community, the purpose of the event 1s to
also raise money for the City of Dublin Youth Fee Assistance Program which provides financial assistance fox :
lower-income Dublin youth to participate in the Ciry's recreation programs.
Performers of all ages who are interested in participating should email Henry Siu at henry.siuna,dublin.ca.gov `
or call (925) 556-4500. Application forms are available online at www.dublin.ca.gov and are due on or before
5:00 PM,March 25, 2016.
Ticket prices will be$6 both at the door and in advance from March 7 to April 8, 2016,and will be sold at the
Shannon Communiry Center and the Dublin Senior Center.
The Senior Center Advisory Committee Subcommittee Members are CM Lore and CM K.rausnick. CM Lore
attended a Youth Advisory Committee Subcommittee Meeting on February 11, 2016. At that meeting, the

Youth Advisory Committee Subcommittee asked the Senior Advisory Committee Subcominittee Members :
for assistance in recruiring senior perfortners, promoting the event to the senior popularion, screening the
applicants,and helping the day of the event with ticket sales.
