FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: The Dublin Senior Center offers activities and events that promote
healthy living for seniors, and the opportunity to build new friendships through recreation. The
following is a summary of the 2014 summer quarter.

The Senior Center experienced a 17% increase in Drop-In attendance and a 3% increase in Programs and
Activities attendance. Overall this was a 5% increase in total Senior Center attendance. Total volunteer
hours decreased by 18%. In the past, volunteer hours for the lunch program were tracked through the
Senior Center, but now volunteers directly report to Open Heart Kitchen to volunteer.
Large growth was experienced in some classes including Balance and Agility, Fit Over 50 Exercise, Mah
Jong, Saturday Art and Afternoon Ballroom Dance. New programming this quarter included Foot Fitness
and Healing Yoga.
Special luncheons included a Father's Day theme in June with 46 attending, a Patriotic themed luncheon
in July with 41 attending and a Broadway Melodies theme in August with 45 attending. The Senior
Foundation Ice Cream Social had a turnout of 80 participants in June. A crowd of 41 dancers attended a
Line Dance Social in August.
