CALL TO ORDER
The July 24, 2013 meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:03 p.m. at the
Shannon Community Center by Vice Chairperson Angie Wang.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Vice Chairperson Wang.

Committee Members Absent: Alexandra Padnos, Jenny Dyer, Kayla Frierson, Brooke
Brunckhorst, Ben Sher, Kush Rastogi, Nicki Butler
Liaison Present: Vivian Sung, Parks and Community Services Commission Liaison
Staff Present: Henry Siu, Frank Luna, Officer Aaron Garth- Dublin Police

'R ON A MOTION BY CM JESSIE SHER, AND SECONDED BY CM NUNEZ AND BY A VOTE 8-
0-1, THE YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE VOTED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF JUNE
26, 2013 AS PRESENTED. CM DEGUZMAN ABSTAINED DUE TO THE ABSENCE AT THE
JUNE 26, 2013 MEETING.

NEW B USINESS
Youth Advisory Committee Work Plan for 2013-2014
Youth Advisory Committee Members reviewed the Work Plan for the 2013-2014 term. The work plan
included implementation of the Youth Mini Grant program which was established last year, assist staff
with various City planned activities and events, and to support the Youth Fee Assistance program using
past establish City programs. The Committee Members stated that they are looking forward to
participating and implementing the work plan for the 2013-2014 term.
OTHER BUSINESS
Staff Member Siu. encouraged all Youth Advisory Committee Members to participate or volunteer at City
sponsored special events as well as Youth Advisory Committee sponsored activities.
ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m. by Vice Chairperson Wang.
