Seven YAC Members and one staff member helped to beautify the Heritage Center by raking leaves, pulling weeds and general trash pick-up. They did this project on April 28, 2007 as part of the City of Dublin Pride Week event. In the process of developing goals and objectives, the Youth Advisory Committee should consider issues and interests of Dublin youth and teens. Issues to consider are scheduling activities and events in the interest of both middle school and high school youth. The Committee should also consider youth participation in City sponsored special events, and how to improve the advertising of these events. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Youth Advisory Committee receive the report and identify goals and objectives for 2007-2008 term. 2 of 2
