HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 52-13 Janitorial Svcs Agmt RESOLUTION NO. 52 - 13 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO JANITORIAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DUBLIN AND TRI-VALLEY JANITORIAL SERVICE AND SUPPLY WHEREAS, On September 6, 2011, the City Council approved a three-year Agreement with Tri-Valley Janitorial Service and Supply to perform janitorial services; and WHEREAS, in March 2013, the building inspectors were relocated to the trailer located in the Police parking lot of the Civic Center, due to extensive repairs needed to the trailers located in eastern Dublin where the inspectors were previously located; and WHEREAS, Tri-Valley Janitorial Service and Supply provided janitorial service twice a week at the building inspectors' trailers located in eastern Dublin; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to amend the term of the agreement to eliminate janitorial services at the building inspectors' trailers effective May 1, 2013. The current Fiscal Year 2012- 2013 budget for janitorial services at the building inspectors' trailers is $1,860; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby approve the First Amendment to Janitorial Services Agreement between the City of Dublin and Tri-Valley Janitorial Service and Supply, attached hereto as Exhibit A to the Resolution. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement.
