CALL TO ORDER
The October 23, 2013 meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:02 PM at the
Shannon Community Center by Chairperson Kush Rastogi.

Youth Mini Grant Program Update
Staff provided an update on the progress of the Youth Mini Grant Program. Mr. Luna stated that the
deadline to submit applications is November 22, 2013 at 5:00 PM. Staff handed out Youth Mini Grant
!j applications to Youth Advisory Committee Members to give to the various youth clubs at their specific
school campuses.

'i Dublin Tree Lighting Ceremony
Staff provided information on the City of Dublin Tree Lighting event which is scheduled at the Dublin
Civic Center on December 5, 2013. Every year at this annual event Youth Advisory Committee Members
are asked to volunteer to assist with set-up, clean-up and other duties to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Staff provided a sign-up sheet for interested Committee Members to volunteer from 6:15 PM to 9:15 PM
j the evening of the event.
OTHER BUSINESS—
CM Wang stated that the Dublin High Leadership class is still interested in offering a Winter Ball Dance
in collaboration with the Youth Advisory Committee. Staff stated if Dublin High School sponsors the
event, the Parks and Community Services Department would be interested in assisting. CM Wang asked,
