and Driving Educational Campaign Subcommittee Reports.

Staff and the Subcommittees for the Fundraising for the Youth Fee
Assistance Program, Teen Special Events, and Texting and Driving Educational Campaign will update the
Youth Advisory Committee Members on the progress of their projects.
Committee Members established subcommittees for Teen Special Events, Fundraising for the Youth Fee
Assistance Program, and Texting and Driving Educational Campaign. The Teen Special Events
Subcommittee is responsible for the planning of teen events for the school year, as well as marketing the
events. The Fundraising Subcommittee is responsible for planning fundraising activities for the Youth Fee
Assistance program. The Texting and Driving Educational Campaign Subcommittee is responsible for
establishing a yearlong educational campaign for middle and high school students to educate students on
the negative impact of texting while driving a vehicle.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Youth Advisory Committee receive the
report.
