RESOLUTION NO. 71 – 26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ACCEPTING THE IRON HORSE NATURE PARK AND OPEN SPACE - PHASE 1 PROJECT, CIP NO.
PK0422
WHEREAS, on October 17, 2023 the City Council awarded a construction contract in the amount
of $3,324,491 to Goodfellow Bros. California, LLC for the Iron Horse Nature Park and Open Space – Phase
1 Project, CIP No. PK0422; and
WHEREAS, said improvements have been completed in accordance with plans and specifications,
and any approved modifications thereof, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer of the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of the construction contract, Goodfellow Bros. California, LLC is
required to warranty the improvements for a period of one year following the completion of the work and
maintain a maintenance bond in the amount of 10 percent of the final contract value.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby accept
the Iron Horse Nature Park and Open Space – Phase 1 Project, CIP No. PK0422, and authorize Staff to file
a Notice of Completion with Alameda County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby authorize the
City Manager, or designee, to release the retention, if after 35 days of filing the Notice of Completion there
are no subcontractor claims.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby authorize the City
Manager, or designee, to release the maintenance bond at the end of the one-year warranty period.

July, 2026 by the following vote:
