REGULAR MEETING
MAY 14, 2026
A Regular Meeting of the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission was held on Thursday,
May 14, 2026, at the Peter W. Snyder Council Chamber, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, CA 94568.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairperson Agrawal.

4.1) Approved April 9, 2026 Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission Regular Meeting
Minutes.
On a motion by Commissioner Tomtania, seconded by Commissioner Gabriell, and by a
unanimous vote, the Commission adopted the Consent Calendar.
RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS]

6.1) Utility Box Art Selection
The Commission received a presentation on Utility Box Art design proposals for nine boxes
to be painted in 2026.

On a motion by Commissioner Tomtania, seconded by Vice Chairperson Iharosi, and by a
unanimous vote, the Commission is recommending the above 9 Utility Box Art design
proposals to the City Council for approval.
RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS]

6.2) Cultural Events Space Grant Program – 2026 Fourth Quarter Applicant
The Commission received a presentation from the Tri-Valley Hindu Connect regarding their
application for the 2026 Cultural Event Space Grant Program.
On a motion by Chairperson Agrawal, seconded by Vice Chairperson Iharosi, and by a
unanimous vote, the Commission approved awarding the 2026 fourth quarter grant to the
Tri-Valley Hindu Connect for their Diwali Mela 2026 event.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

6.3) Consolidation of Cultural Event Fee Waiver and Arts Space Grant Programs into
Dublin C.R.E.A.T.E.
The Commission received a report on the consolidation of the Cultural Event Fee Waiver
program and the Arts Space Grant program into a single streamlined program titled, Dubin
C.R.E.A.T.E. and provided feedback.
6.4) 2026-2076 Community Time Capsule Project.
The Commission received a presentation on the City’s 2026 -2076 Community Time
Capsule Project and provided feedback.
7) STAFF AND COMMISSIONER REPORTS
Staff and Commissioners provided brief information-only reports.
8) ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Agrawal adjourned the meeting at 8:12 PM.
