CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. PRESENTATIONS 3. PUBLIC COMMENT At this time, the public is permitted to address the Youth Advisory Committee on non- agendized items. Please step to the podium and clearly state your name for the record. COMMENTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED THREE (3) MINUTES. In accordance with State Law, no action or discussion may take place on any item not appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Recording Secretary’s Office related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Youth Advisory Committee agenda. The exceptions under which the Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in Government Code Section 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3). 4. CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar items are typically non-controversial in nature and are considered for approval by the Youth Advisory Committee with one single action. Members of the audience, Staff or the Youth Advisory Committee who would like an item removed from the Consent Calendar for purposes of public input may request the Chair to remove the item. 4.1 Approval of the April 15, 2026 Youth Advisory Committee Special Meeting Minutes The Committee will consider approving the April 15, 2026 Youth Advisory Committee Special Meeting minutes. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 2026 Dublin Benefit Concert Post-Event Discussion The Youth Advisory Committee will receive a report on the 2026 Dublin Benefit Concert and provide feedback on the event. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the report and provide feedback on the 2026 Dublin Benefit Concert. Staff Report 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 2025-26 Youth Advisory Committee End-of-Term Recap The Youth Advisory Committee will receive a report summarizing activities and accomplishments from the 2025-26 service term and provide feedback to inform future Committees. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the report and provide feedback on the 2025-26 service term for future Youth Advisory Committees. Staff Report - 2025-26 End-of-Term Recap 7. STAFF AND COMMITTEE MEMBER REPORTS Brief information only reports from Committee Members and/or Staff, including committee reports and reports by Committee Members related to meetings attended at City expense (AB1234). 8. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the report and provide feedback on the 2026 Dublin Benefit Concert. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. DESCRIPTION: The 2026 Dublin Benefit Concert was held on April 23, 2026, in conjunction with the Dublin Farmers’ Market at the Emerald Glen Park Amphitheater. The event featured eleven youth performers and groups, representing a diverse range of talents, including vocal, instrumental, and cultural dance performances. Performers included Akshada Irkulla, Tanaya Shah, Svara Wani, and Isabella Giacomini (vocalists/theater); Little Rockers (band), Sairaj Drums (solo drums), Maurya Patel and Caleb Myatt (pianists), Dublin High School Filipino Club (Tinikling dance), Siddhi Dance Academy (Bharatanatyam dance), and Shining Stars (Bollywood dance). The concert was planned and implemented by the 2026 Dublin Benefit Concert Ad Hoc Committee as an annual fundraising event, with proceeds benefitting the Dublin Youth Assistance Fee Program. The Youth Advisory Committee will discuss the event and provide feedback to help inform future planning efforts. Discussion topics may include event date and time, performer 9 Page 2 of 2 participation, event logistics, marketing and outreach, donation strategies, sponsorship opportunities, and overall event outcomes. This item provides an opportunity for outgoing Committee Members to reflect on the activities and accomplishments of the past year. The Youth Advisory Committee will discuss key initiatives, highlight successes, and provide feedback and recommendations to support future Committee planning and continuity.
