Appointment of Association of Bay Area Governments Delegate for the
2026 General Assembly

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will consider confirming the Mayor’s appointment of Councilmember Qaadri
as the City’s delegate for the 2026 Association of Bay Area Governments General Assembly.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the Mayor’s Appointment of Councilmember Qaadri as the City of Dublin delegate for
the 2026 Association of Bay Area Governments General Assembly.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
DESCRIPTION:
The City Council confirmed the Mayor’s appointments to various local and regional boards,
committees, and commissions on December 17, 2024 with Resolution No. 147-24. With that
item, Councilmember McCorriston was appointed as the delegate and Mayor Hu as the
alternate to the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) General Assembly.
Due to scheduling conflicts, Councilmember McCorriston and Mayor Hu are not available for
the 2026 ABAG General Assembly. Mayor Hu has appointed Councilmember Qaadri as the
delegate for the 2026 ABAG General Assembly, and the City Council is being asked to confirm
the appointment. No changes are being made to the appointments in Exhibit A to Resolution
No. 147-24.
