A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PA 86-004, VALLEY LUTHERAN SCHOOL
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION, TO OPERATE A PRE-SCHOOL AND
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AT 8850 DAVONA DRIVE.
WHEREAS, Henry Aschbrenner, representing Valley Lutheran School,
filed an application for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a Pre-school and
Elementary School (grades pre-K through 8) for a maximum of 150 students
within existing facilities at 8850 Davona Drive; and
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), together
with the State Guidelines and City environmental regulations, require that
certain projects be reviewed for environmental impact and that environmental
documents be prepared; and
WHEREAS, an initial study was conducted finding that the project,
as proposed, would not have a significant effect on the environment; and
WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration has been prepared for this
application; and
WHEREAS, public notice of the Negative Declaration was given in
all respects as required by State law; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did review and consider the
Negative Declaration at a Public Hearing on February 18, 1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Dublin Planning Commission
finds as follows:
1. That the project 86-004, Valley Lutheran School Conditional
Use Permit, will not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. That the Negative Declaration has been prepared and
processed in accordance with State and local environmental laws and guideline
regulations.
3. That the Negative Declaration is complete and adequate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Dublin Planning Commission hereby
adopts the Negative Declaration for PA 86-004, Valley Lutheran School
Conditional Use Permit application.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of February, 1986.
