A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR
PA 90-082 DEL PISO TILE & BRICK COMPANY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND
SITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW AT 6500 SIERRA COURT
WHEREAS, Robert S. Kumnick, on behalf of Del Piso Tile & Brick
Company, filed applications requesting Conditional Use Permit and Site
Development Review approvals for the establishment of an outdoor
storage yard, limiting the uses permitted on-site and allowing
exterior modifications to the existing, improved site, located at
6500 Sierra Court, more specifically, APN 941-205-11; and
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA),
together with the State guidelines and City environmental regulation,
require that certain projects be reviewed for environmental impact and
that environmental documents be prepared; and
WHEREAS, an Initial Study was conducted finding that the project,
as proposed, would not have a significant effect on the environment;
and
WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration has been prepared for this
application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did review and consider the
Negative Declaration at a public hearing on November 5, 1990; and
WHEREAS, proper notice of said public hearing was given in all
respects as required by law; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Dublin Planning
Commission does hereby find that:
1. The Conditional Use Permit and Site Development Review for
the project, PA 90-082, will not have a significant effect on the
environment.
2. The Negative Declaration has been prepared and processed in
accordance with State and local environmental laws and guideline
regulation.
3. The Negative Declaration is complete and adequate.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, 1990.
